Bold red poppies burst from a vivid lime-green field across the lower two-thirds of this 2.44" canvas — each flower a raised caulk circle of deep red with a yellow dot at its center, the petals thick and dimensional, the stems tangled in the bright green caulk grass between them. Scattered red buds dot the dark earth at the horizon line, where the field meets a band of rich black soil before giving way to a wide open sky of pale blue and white.
