The Tomato is deceptively simple and completely commanding. A single ripe tomato — deep red fading into warm orange, green stem reaching out, shadow pooling beneath it — painted with the kind of attention that makes an ordinary subject extraordinary. At 8" x 10", it's the perfect size for a kitchen, a dining room, or anywhere that needs something real on the wall. Jay painted one. There is no second one. When it's gone, it's gone.
