Fall Pathway

Two autumn trees dominate the left side of this 8"x10" canvas, their canopies exploding in gold, deep red, burnt orange, and yellow — every leaf and branch built up with thick, heavily textured caulk ridges that catch the light and cast real shadows across the surface. The pathway curves through the lower right, disappearing into a soft, hazy mist of white and warm gray that fills the right half of the composition — textured throughout, never flat, the caulk combed in long sweeping strokes that suggest fog and distance. The forest floor is dark and rich, deep brown and black pooling at the base of the trunks, grounding the whole scene. This is caulk art applied to a classic autumn landscape — the kind of piece that looks different every time the light changes, and that no photograph can fully capture.
